Postdoctoral Scholar

Michael is a postdoctoral associate at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine. He obtained his PhD from the University of Normandy in Rouen, France, where he investigated the role of GABAergic signaling in neuronal network modulation during spontaneous recovery post-stroke. Currently, Michael uses large-scale calcium imaging to explore neural mechanisms underlying dexterous function recovery after stroke. In his free time, Michael enjoys playing bass, gaming, and hiking.
